They were in negotiations for an undisputed title fight. Had it not been for Spence getting into another car wreck, He likely could have been ready for a January fight. With Crawford having just fought, he won't be.

The last contract called out a January date. That's actually WHY Crawford ducked it - he didn't want to wait for January.

He also didn't want a rematch clause (cash out).

Simple, Bud knew Spence wasn’t going to be able to fight in Nov… why should Bud wait on an undisciplined fake clowns like Spence & Haymon?

Nah, Crawford was double dipping with simultaneous negotiations and took the easy, guaranteed money and easy fight. That's all fine and dandy for him, but Spence suggested it was underhanded, which it was.

You’re again showing your ignorance. The underhanded way of doing business in the middle of negotiations is what Haymon & Spence did by ghosting Bud when Bud asked for transparency at the same time Spence, the guy that was supposed to be his own boss had to get with Haymon after a direct conversation with Bud. If you take one look at Spence 2-3 months ago, anybody with common sense could see his weight ballooned to around 180 LB’s knowing Spence can’t make 147 for any fight until June or July 2023 as he has stated. Bud knew Spence & Haymon were disingenuous about Nov fight. Bud did the right thing as he said all along start of negotiations, he was to fight again this year- showing again who’s the real champion and who’s fake-
