Andrade and him have no where to go to make money. They should had fought each other already. That would had been the biggest investment either one would had done and the winner would had momentum to seek a future super fight.

Now with Charlo not fighting, if he ever comes back he would need another soft touch so there is no saying when he will actually step it up again.

I’ll be watching if and when Jermall Charlo decides to end his semi-retirement. Until then I’m more focused on guys who actually fight.

Eh, he's trying to protect his 0.

His brother is almost better off for having lost already.

Reports say Canelo is talking to Jake Paul. He may be back fighting on Showtime, but not with Charlo. We'll see.

I could imagine Jermall Charlo is feeling very much left out. Even Espinoza probably don't know what to do with his situation.

So true. I think he is surrounded by people who have taken matchmaking to an extreme level. He relied heavily on these people, instead of charting his own course while maintaining the fire many boxers have, which is why they chose this profession in the first place. And so these people tell him to wait on Canelo, and thus he's following their advice to the letter. Problem is that fight may never come and he ends up lengthening his period of inactivity for no useful purpose.

I think Jermall wants no smoke no mo. He's basically retired. He needs a tuneup if he comes back. Then another long vacation begins.

                  More or less

His next fight will be a tune up as he’s been out the ring for so long

I imagine that will be his only fight of next year

                  He’s done

Not his fault that he couldn't get the big fights. At 160 ibs, canelo and ggg didn't want him. He has not moved up to 168 ibs yet, so we can't say that he ducked the 168 ibs guys. He did call out their names, but many fighters like to call out guys to have their names in the mix, so that's nothing new. He is not the first to do it, and certainly will not be the last. Right now, he has to move up to 168 ibs and be in the actual mix. Even andrade moved up and went over to pbc/showtime so that he can get better fights, so I don't know what he is waiting for...

True. He's done. It's a repeat cycle. And when his tune up is over, how long again before he comes back in the ring? Fans wait so long only to see him fight cans.
