I wasn't planning on watching Garcia's tune up fight anyway

      Nah

The fight people want to see is Ryan vs Tank, at their best without any further delays.
A tune up can prevent that from happening (mostly due to recovery from shlt).
I've never heard of a guy getting hate for not fighting a tune up.

Now if he loses they will have a built in excuse. Ring rust/inactivity.

Tank picked the wrong guy for a tune up, and Ryan making a mistake by not having one at all! Gesta was just right, older and a southpaw! Hector Garcia all wrong, former Olympian, Young, Hungry, and a current Champion! Hope Calvin Ford knows what he's doing! Hope Ryan has some slick southpaws in camp!

Normally I would agree with you but Ryan has a history and it's not a good one. He says all of the right things and then next thing you know, he's doing the opposite. His word isn't exactly his bond.

He's backed himself into an inescapable corner now.
I don't know of this history but it ends now or there had better be a great reason.

Boxing Scene simpletons never cease to amaze me. They b I t c h about constant tune up fights and not getting the young and tops fighting in their divisions. We now get one that comes out publicly about skipping “the next tune up” to make the big fight happen and THAT TOO IS AN ISSUE to b I t c h about. BS is comedy gold. I firmly believe 80% would b I t c h about the taxes they must pay on winning a multimillion dollar lottery.

A great reason would be another mental health episode. With that being said, I will give him all the credit for going through with the fight but first, Tank has to get past the other Garcia and I think it's a good fight.

If a fighter is having ''issues'', it's best the fight is delayed.
As a fight fan, I want both guys to be at the best.
Nothing is worse than an after L excuse.
As of this moment, the only excuse that can be used is Tank needing to recover.
Even in a 3 rd blow out an injury can happen.
There is no excuse Ryan can use.
