Well, we shall see! However, I think he really means it this time. He has never ducked or turned down a Tank Davis fight before in the past because he has never been offered one. If the fight doesn't get made then we would only have both GBP and the PBC to blame. Tank has always been Ryan Garcia's dream fight.

You guys just don't get it. Ryan doesn't want to take any chances of jeopardizing his fight with Tank with a tune up fight; In which he could very well lose if he is not mentally prepared, disciplined or focused for it. He carries the strong risk of overlooking past this guy with the potential Davis fight on the horizon if he is not careful.

That's not why. An injury can happen during an eight week camp. Why chance it and give Tank a reason/way to slither away. If he wins on the 7th, there's no turning back. Can't blame Daddy Floyd anymore.

But the other way of looking this is a lack of confidence in his ability to get past what can be considered a tune up. This is more a reflection of his mental instability to lock in for multiple camps etc.
