Regis Prograis might, maybe, get his hands on Teofimo in 4-5 years or by mandatory, maybe but that's it. If asked, every expert will agree because every expert knows that Bob will never allow Progrias near Lopez and for that reason I find Teo's BS statements especially offensive.

Bob has a choke hold on the division and he's not about to risk it by letting Prograis near his stable.

Teofimo Lopez and his team are blatantly hiding behind Bob Arum and to be honesty, after what we saw on November 26th, it's probably the right call.

That fight could have gone either way, it should have been a draw. At the level Prograis is boxing and knowing when to use his power now, I don't think Taylor would make it to the end of the fight. Regis showed a different level of skill and volume from when he fought Taylor. The last time Taylor fought, he was gifted a decision that he knows he lost.

And you think Zepeda is nothing special? I can't name 5 other guys in the division that can beat him.

        1. Teofimo was a 10 to 1 favorite when he took a beating from a completely unknown George Kambosos. Making matters worse, Teofimo flat refused a rematch.
        2. Regis Prograis lost to the unified 140lb champion in a 50/50 fight
        3. Jose Zepeda was ranked 3rd by ring magazine and #1 by the WBC when he fought Regis Prograis.

I guess it's possible that you missed these facts but this is all common knowledge. No offense but do you actually follow boxing at all?

I hear so much talk about how he lost to Taylor. It was a very close fight, that I thought he edged. It was not a clear cut win for Taylor

Maybe it's because Prograis knows Teo will try and get the biggest share of the purse... "ESPN's Mike Coppinger reported new payout figures in October after the bout moved from Triller to DAZN. Lopez is set to make $3,178,000, counting the $900,000 from Triller's deposit. Kambosos will earn $1,527,100, counting the $300,000 from Triller's deposit."

Can anyone even imagine Lopez with his little single shot half philly counter in that Prograis/Taylor war for 12 rounds. These dudes are going to beat the breaks off of him. Bob will protect him from Progais as he did Ramirez. I'm not sure about Taylor

Pot, meet kettle, Teo. We remember how full of yourself you were after Loma gave away the fight by basically not punching for seven rounds, and how the other big names in the division needed to "earn" their shots at you, before promptly getting your butt kicked by your mandatory that you were a 30-1 favorite for. And you just said you were a bigger draw than Tank. What a hypocrite.

Say what you will about Lopez, but I'd like to see the fight. Yes, I too would put my money on Prograis. However the stylistic match-up on paper is interesting stuff. I'd like to see it.

It's the prevailing MO of many fighters now, which included Teo himself. Call out or mention names, then when it is offered demand huge money. It's silly. Anyone can call out anyone, "I'll fight king kong if you give me $10 million." So ******.
