I don't know who annoys me more Teo or his Dad

Teo better be worried about Martin before he starts thinking about Prograis. Sandor doesn't have much power, but he's slick with his combinations and footwork. His defense is a few levels above Teo's as well. As far as Prograis, Lopez is not ready for that type of work yet. He might want to jump in with Barboza or Pedraza next to keep growing skill wise. Regis doesn't come to play, he puts fighters on their ass.
Kambosos really exposed his weaknesses as a boxer, and his father's incompetence as a chief second in his corner.
Prograis is in a much better boxer, and puncher than Kambosos who busted up Teofimo's face in their fight.
That's why I believe that Prograis would actually knockout Teofimo, or make him quit on his stool in the corner.
Teofimo tried to intimidate his opponent's, when that didn't work he counted on his power, when that didn't work he relied on his corner, when that failed him he caught a beating.
After all that (losing his title's, and undefeated record), he's left with talking a better fight, than actually fighting one.
That's not going to cut it in boxing, especially in the 140 pound division which is loaded with better boxer's, and puncher's than he is.Comment

- Teofimo was a 10 to 1 favorite when he took a beating from a completely unknown George Kambosos. Making matters worse, Teofimo flat refused a rematch.
- Regis Prograis lost to the unified 140lb champion in a 50/50 fight
- Jose Zepeda was ranked 3rd by ring magazine and #1 by the WBC when he fought Regis Prograis.
I guess it's possible that you missed these facts but this is all common knowledge. No offense but do you actually follow boxing at all?Comment

That fight could have gone either way, it should have been a draw. At the level Prograis is boxing and knowing when to use his power now, I don't think Taylor would make it to the end of the fight. Regis showed a different level of skill and volume from when he fought Taylor. The last time Taylor fought, he was gifted a decision that he knows he lost.
And you think Zepeda is nothing special? I can't name 5 other guys in the division that can beat him.
As far as Prograis knocking out Taylor in a rematch, I believe that's a damn good fight between them again, whether it's fought at the 140, or 147 pound limit.
Let's see how Taylor does in the rematch with Caterrall, if he loses that rematch, then I'll agree with your post complete.Comment

Pot, meet kettle, Teo. We remember how full of yourself you were after Loma gave away the fight by basically not punching for seven rounds, and how the other big names in the division needed to "earn" their shots at you, before promptly getting your butt kicked by your mandatory that you were a 30-1 favorite for. And you just said you were a bigger draw than Tank. What a hypocrite.
Only to cost Trilla over 10 million in losses due to his many cancellation's leading up to the Kambosos fight.Last edited by Boricua181; 12-08-2022, 12:59 AM.Comment
