At least Williams was "justified" by money needs. Chisora, as you said, is rich... and shot to bits. One thinks about self-destruction instincts.

Incidentally, I wonder why Fury, given that he keeps calling him a friend, didn't put him out of his misery with a couple of shots rather than pounding his head for all that time.

Not like he’s shot to pieces and stepping in the ring punch drunk. He’s just not that good. Never has been. There’s journeymen with worse records still fighting

I suspect that he will keep fighting for as long as Eddie will pay him. And then once Eddie cuts him off...he will align with some dodgy eastern euro promoter who will pit him against some juiced up russian gangster on the underground bare knuckle scene.

              Yup

              Thought he retired

              Losing pays

Glad that losers like them are extremely rare.
              They serve a purpose, though.

People told him to retire after Parker pummeled him around too... Unfortunately be didn't.

He's got nothing else to prove.

not as rare as you think. Plenty of Mexican cab drivers fully licensed as professional boxers with double digit losses, just check boxingrec

Oh come on Del, your 38 slow & shot. He was done after the first.
Here is where boxing needs to draw a line & retire Del for his own good.
