It seems the hometown hero can bounce up and down like a yoyo, all night, but the import can't get a count. Taking a knee is like turning your back. That's worse than a KD especially twice. Worse than spitting out your mouth piece. "Our rules are different" they say. So I noticed.

That guy literally just followed Dubois around letting him punch him, I've never seen anyone just stop throwing punches for no reason like that.
Dubois fought back, and won the fight.
Where is the Lerena interview? The man gave a good effort, but he and his team seemed not to complain about the stoppage.
The point I am making is that Fury who is apparently the gold standard for Durability 'Has been ****** about and decked many times in his career'.
And he is still getting decked now, when he actually fights at world level.

Lerena must be really kicking himself for letting a golden opportunity go like that UNLESS someone came to his corner between rounds and said something to convince him to let him off the hook.
I was watching BKFC at time as Chocolatito vs Estrada and a guys knee went and he kept getting up over and over again and wasn't eager to "quit", the ref had to stop it but this guy came into the fight with a knee brace...

I was mainly referring to how he hardcore fans speak of him.
Durability is not just about being able to take a punch, it is also about recovering. So Tyson Fury is a durable fighter.
Nobody knows how Joe Joyce will react when he gets hurt? Sometimes fighters can withstand a certain power threshold, but once that threshold is breached 'That is it'.
We know that if Fury's power threshold is breached, he can still fight through that sort of danger. So for me is a durable fighter, one of the most durable in the Heavyweight division etc.
I have always describe Fury as a knock out waiting to happen, he always looks to me a a moment away from calamity.
Dubois showed durability vs Lerena. Another element of durability.

To me, taking a knee when you haven't been hit is cheating. It is buying time. When he did it the second time, if I'd been ref I would've deducted a point.Combat Talk Radio likes this.

Dubois has some ability but he needs to completely rethink. Sack all his training team & get a complete new team & basically start from the bottom up. He is only in early 20s so he has plenty of time.
