I thought Gonzalez won pretty clearly, though he did start slow and lost most (but not all) of the early rounds. Every round was competitive, but as they went on Estrada's work became less effective with him mostly hitting arms and gloves and increasingly throwing a higher frequency of "keep away" punches in order hold Gonzalez at bay more so than do damage, while Gonzalez' work only improved as he settled into a rhythm and found more of the smoothness and clean combination punching he's known for.

I had to take my headset off after the first four rounds and watch the rest without commentary. Not something I often do unless it's particularly egregious. Sergio Mora ignorantly labelling the fight a boxer-puncher (Estrada) versus a "slugger, brawler" (Gonzalez) was about where I had enough.

Anyway, as a Mexican, I root for Mexicans but if Chocolatito would have won, It would have been fine with me since he is Latino too. What’s racist about feeling like many others that Choc beat Estrada? Most of those other guys you mentioned don’t have much humility either.
