There's no need for wilder to be so greedy. Why the rush to be no3? Beat ruiz, joyce and Josh first then you can be no3, maybe no2 even. Josh wouldn't fight fury and lose 3 times, let alone by ko two times! Josh would best 40 year old olditz, and stiverne. Josh might best fury, we need that fight.
what's with modern society and instant gratification?

AJ has beaten better opponents than Wilder. He is also younger and hasn't been beaten to an inch of his life in 2 of his last 3 fights.

We can play that game if you want. AJ lost two out of his last three by getting slapped around by a blown up cruiserweight. He also got beat up by the pillsbury doughboy. Wilder got his asz kicked twice by the 6ft 9 best heavyweight in the world. See the difference? Devils in the details.

That said, AJ has absolutely beat better opponents but in a H2H matchup, Wilder knocks AJ cold.

I see a lot of posters using the resume argument and whilst I get it, is there really anyone on AJ’s resume that beats Wilder?

IMO… Wilder obliterates a 41 year old Klitschko. I know some posters rate that win but is beating a 41 year old, 18 month inactive fighter coming off a loss really that impressive.

He definitely ices the other old men like Povetkin and Pulev. He ices Ruiz and Parker. He decapitates Whyte.

On the flip side, does Joshua put Fury down 4 times in 3 fights? It’s not impossible but I highly doubt it. I also think in those losses Wilder showed more metal than Joshua ever has.

I wouldn’t say it’s definitive but I think the general consensus would be Fury, Usyk, Wilder as the top 3 at this very moment.

I rate fighters by who they beat, not by who beat them. Wilder has beaten nobody and had the snot beaten out of him twice by the only good opponent he ever faced. That's all I need to know.

Another fine thread by an ultimate dribbler.

              Wilder isn't top 10. He's never been top 5.

              Fury
              Usyk
              AJ
              Joyce

And so on and so on...

Wilder knows he's below Josh until he beats him. Today's society wants instant gratification. Why cant wilder and his fans wait until wilder beats Josh? It's like putting wilder above Josh so wilder don't need to fight Josh.
Like buds already been half paid to fight russian? You give dodgy builders money upfront they take money and run and never complete work

Because Wilder never beat anybody worth a damn.

Better wins. Their losses don't mean much regarding their relative ranking imo because they're not against common opponents. Wilder might be better but he needs to prove it.
