Could have carried on, but cmon man Larena was eating whiplash upercuts for jokes. Those punches look damaging, like long term brain bleed type reactions from the way his head snapped back. So while it could have continued, ref may have saved him night in the hospital

DuBois doesn't beat anyone of note.
Sounds like Fury/Pajkic all over again…

No 3 knockdowns rule anymore. But I wonder why boxingscene scored the first round 10-7, when there were 3 knockdowns. Shouldn't it be 10-6?

              Horrible stoppage by the ref.
Lerena was on his feet & the round was over.
No count issued, and he would have had a full minute to recover between rounds.
However, Lerena needs a new corner.
They told him to not go for the finish before round 2 started.
Dubois was out on his feet.
Lerena let him off the hook.
Tough loss for Lerena but credit to Dubois for staying composed & getting back in the fight.

There once was a time, when that second knee would have ended the fight. Something is wrong here. Knees, and eye sockets and knees. What is Dboi doing down there?

The one body shot definitely hurt Lerena & that one good uppercut at the end but he didn’t go down & the bell rang. No count & waved off while Lerena could of had a minute to recover. Dubois may very well have KO’d him the next round but he should have at least been given the opportunity… Howard Foster up to his old tricks again… Dubois is starting to look very vulnerable.

I had said it before that Dubois is not a good boxer 3 times on the mat but no stoppage 3 times in the first round Dubois **** in his pants he won't go far in the heavyweights jalolov will crush him like a little girl fly because dubois had the size advantage a former cruizerweiht who sent him to the mat he who said Dubois that he wanted revenge with joe joyce it is better to stay away from good suitors
