Instead of making one of the biggest fights in boxing for a potential record high salary, potentially winning the undisputed welterweight title and becoming a more prominent figure, and being marketed to a wider audience in a much anticipated fight to increase visibility and salary offers for future endeavors; he secured a guaranteed salary to fight a fringe contender.
Good for him, he made a good, shortsighted business decision.Comment

The fact people can disrespect a former undisputed champion at 140 and future HOFer staggers me. Just enjoy Bud he's one of the best you'll ever see. The Spence fight will happen.Comment

That's funny, because Crawford not two weeks ago said he started negotiating with them in June.Crawford said he had been in touch with BLK Prime during his negotiations with Spence’s advisor, Al Haymon of Premier Boxing Champions, but that it was not until the fight with Spence was officially dead in the water that he reached out to the nascent company to make a deal.

The problem is Spence vs Crawford wasn't projected to be a record high salary for him. When he wanted clarification on the money, he was told "no."Instead of making one of the biggest fights in boxing for a potential record high salary, potentially winning the undisputed welterweight title and becoming a more prominent figure, and being marketed to a wider audience in a much anticipated fight to increase visibility and salary offers for future endeavors; he secured a guaranteed salary to fight a fringe contender.

This is what happened according to has been documented. Crawford wanted $25 million for the fight, which means at the very least, you have to pay Spence $25 million as well. Espinoza did not think the fight was big enough for the casual fans to dish out $50 million so he wanted to give Crawford $5 million. Bud came down to $15 million and Espinoza went up to $8 million and they were stalled at those two numbers. So Espinoza said, well sense he thinks this fight as he think it is, then he can bet on himself and take the fight with no guarantee and if he is able to make more than $15 million, then he has earned it. And Spence agreed to also accept a no guarantee in order to make the fight. But Bud chose to go in another direction even though they both agreed to a no guarantee. Spence was even on Instagram or Twitter on a Live feed, reading parts of the contract and asked Bud to show the fans the contract, and never did. So if he really thought the fight was as big as he thought it was, he could have made $15 million or more. So either he knew it wasn't going to be that big and wanted this outrageous payday, knowing that Showtime and the PBC were going to take a loss, or he really didn't want the fight.Bob said Avan's check cleared. Crawford got 1/2 plus the other 1/2 due before the 1st round. Explain to me why he couldn't get a guarantee from PBC? Spence ducks Crawford and dangerous mandatories to fight a flute playing burnout but everyone external to PBC gets the blame. LDBC propaganda all over the place!Comment

What evidence do you have of that, there are conflicting comments that say he was given full transparency over all revenue, are you taking Bud at his word only or there is more?
