Yeah, I guess I don't really trust Crawford or PBC to tell the truth lol. It seems pretty weird that there couldn't be a minimum guarantee for both guys. Isn't it standard to know how much you're fighting for? I think its very strange that some startup can pay Bud $10 million to fight Avenesyan. How are they making their money? Not by PPV, that's for sure.

Apparently a projected percentage has been done before I think Mayweather operated on only percentage in a number of fights, and its probably more so here if Bud is asking for a large number they cant get close to so they revert to a percentage, if Errol was happy to agree to the same terms he must have thought or been advised by his lawyers that he will make a substantial amount, Im confident the fight would have pulled both fighters more money than what Bud is getting for Avanesyan, a lot more risk but also a lot more reward.

The money for DA could be coming from any source even illegal money being laundered which in those cases they don't care about overpaying it is just paying taxes to them.

This fight can't possibly make any money on PPV. I don't see how any fights make money on PPV these days. The only people buying are too old to know how the internet works. Any sporting event can be streamed for free. I think PBC, Top Rank, etc. all know this. They have to be pulling in money from advertising, sponsoring, site fee, etc, etc. If BLK Prime can make money on this fight somehow, more power to them.

Instead of making one of the biggest fights in boxing for a potential record high salary, potentially winning the undisputed welterweight title and becoming a more prominent figure, and being marketed to a wider audience in a much anticipated fight to increase visibility and salary offers for future endeavors; he secured a guaranteed salary to fight a fringe contender.

Good for him, he made a good, shortsighted business decision.

Or, he made an easy 10 million with the Spence fight remaining as a possibility. I bet you also thought Floyd made shortsighted business decisions by waiting to fight Manny. LOL
