Munguia and/ or his team seem to turn down title fight after title fight.

Not impressed, and I don't think anyone is going to follow his career much, if this is the pattern.

My thoughts exactly. These current dudes are destroying the warrior/willing to fight anyone reputation that was previously established by those guys you mentioned.

Who turns down a world title, Dazn should drop him no more tune up fights. Why have they done this to him, he took a world title fight before on short notice.

this is the fist time ️ n history a world champion gives up title to fight in higher weight class and does not want to be a champion again yet will fight bums his trainer was not like and his promoter fought tthe best

Nobody knows this dude and his far from Beterbiev and Bivol skill level the Central Asian fanboys tried to sell him off as. Bob got his work cut out. Let that other Central Asian dork fight him, passing of the torch.

I have never seen a top rank contender refuse to fight for his Mando spot and run the other way with his tail between his legs.

What an embarrassment for a fighter.

If this article would've come out a few years ago I might have been shocked. But at this point I don't think anyone is surprised any longer that Munguia and Golden Boy don't any serious smoke with ANYONE. It doesn't matter the Network or the Promotional outfit. That's without a doubt. 2nd time he's turned down a chance at the WBO title and belt. FACTS!

                    Sadly, Munguia's not alone.
Ryan (twice) and Danny Garcia have done the same thing, Andrade gave up his belt then swerved the Parker fight at 168, Tank won't be using his WBA status to challenge Haney....modern boxing I guess.

This guy is a joke, I’d understand if he already had the Golovkin fight lined up but I’m almost certain that they’ll find a way to avoid that fight as well. Everyone at 160 somehow have managed to avoid each other the last 3 years, embarrassing
