Golden Boy and DAZN are definitely the problem. They only allowed Ryan to fight Tank because of how publicly Garcia was begging for it, and showing that he wasn't the hold up. Oscar almost lost Ryan before right after losing Canelo, he couldn't afford to have him disgruntled and threatening to leave again.

Which is at least a little strange. In his heyday, Oscar was more than willing to fight anyone but he seems to want to keep his stable away from good competition.

I know. I was a huge ODLH fan as a kid but he figured out the business side and doesn't care a lick about legacy or boxing. He's a businessman. Just like Haymon and Hearn, Warren & Bobby Arum. I feel like Warren and Arum are fans of boxing but not to the point where they will lose a buck. It can be disheartening but I grew up a Cowboys fan so I'm used to it.
