Whyte just got a gift against an unranked fighter who hadn't had a fight since prior to Covid to keep him from going 1-3 in his last 4 fights.

Which proves that pummeling a body bag like Whyte would do nothing for Anderson's status. Anderson should be looking at guys like Wallin or the Cuban heavyweight. Or even Ajagba.

Whyte is a body bag at this point. If Anderson is supposed to be the heavyweight of tomorrow, beating Whyte does what for his profile?

Anderson is fresh. Fighting a gate keeper that still packs a punch is the next step for him. That's why there's nothing wrong with it. If he was a top contender then things would be different.
