Yeah, just imagine, you're offered a fight for undisputed with the guy that holds 3 of the belts in the division. You will make your biggest purse ever, have your largest showing, and jump your legacy up to new heights, just imagine.....but you choose to to secretly negotiate a fight, while still in negotiations for undisputed, with a C-level fighter for a big payday instead. If Charlo took the Crawford fight after Bud just ducked Spence and blocked his opportunity to be undisputed, he would be stabbing his friend, Errol, in the back. Why would he reward Crawford with a chance for undisputed in a different division and a huge payday after Bud just chose to double negotiate and fight Avanesyen instead of Spence? Lol, more with the narratives, what slander and propaganda have I spread by stating facts and using logic. Charlo never involved himself in any talks of facing Crawford because it would look like he's letting Bud step around Spence, who Charlo has repeatedly said will crush Crawford, and trying to steal the big fight from his friend and stablemate. He stated that because of how Bud was running his mouth about what his abilities would be at 154, then if he wants to move up and feel what the difference in power between the divisions, he should fight, Lubin, mind you a fighter that Jermell has already knocked out. Charlo wasn't going to allow Bud to talk his way into an undisputed fight at 154, while at the same time ducking the Spence undisputed fight. Simple, but I guess that's to much truth and sense.

Spence can do what he wants as far as moving up or facing a mandatory at this point because Crawford walked away from the fight. Yes, I would rather him fight Thurman than Boots, not to protect him, but because Erroll had to earn his 3 belts by putting in the work and facing the best the division had to offer, and fighting 3 champions to get to his position. Boots hasn't even fought a top 10 fighter in the division yet, but you want the 3 belt champion to offer him the shot before a proven former champion that has fought the likes of Porter, Garcia, and Pacquiao. You can nitpick things about each of those fighters, but Ennis hasn't stepped in the ring with a fighter even close to their level. The thing is, I like Boots and think that he's going to be an elite boxer in multiple divisions over the course of his career, but do it the right way before we crown him. At least fight one top contender before we just reward him with a 3 belt championship fight for knocking out nobodies.
