Can't say I agree with that perspective, but if he never fights Spence but takes Charlo instead and beats him convincingly, that would be potentially an even better scalp for his legacy. He's gotta actually fight one of them though, not lower tier Avanesyan types. He could also get a lot of credit for fighting and beating Stanionis, Ortiz Jr, or Boots.
