Anyone still deny Canelo is ducking Benavidez?

Hearn and Canelo have been saying for the last year that Benavidez needs to fight better opponents to earn the Canelo fight despite being 2 time wc, undefeated, interim WBC champ, Rings No 1, yet suddenly bum Ryder who lost to rocky fielding has magically earned the Canelo fight?

The charade is over. The GGG fight was a duck and so is Ryder. Fighting journeymen instead of the best guy in the division that everyone wants to see. Don't give me crap about a 'tune up' fight, thats the bs Canelo/Heard narrative to justify this farce. Both are a disgrace to boxing.

Ryder's resume: BJS, Jacobs, Smith, Parker, Fielding.

Bumavidez's resume: Gavril by SD, 70 yo Lemieux.

They're not even the same level. We all know you're in love with Canelo but stop the cap.

Canelo is signed to Matchroom and looking for a tuneup ahead of the Bivol rematch.

Benavidez isn't a tuneup and isn't signed to Matchroom.

Wasn’t it a two fight deal with DAZN?

Bivol in May and then GGG in Sep.

I think Canelo is technically a free agent. He obviously has a good working relationship with DAZN/Matchroom so Ryder makes sense in that respect but he’s not obliged to fight on DAZN next. He could go and make a Benavidez fight if he wanted to.

Canelo will never risk losing to a Mexican.

I’d pick him to beat Benavidez but I do agree that it’s a fight Canelo isn’t keen on making.

Sorry you can't just label a fight a tune up and escape what you have been saying for almost two years about Benavidez. You can't allow a 'tune up' fighter a shot at the undisputed before the fighter who has done far more to deserve it. This is no tune up fight, its just another cherry pick show case to make canelo look good again. The tune up was a 40 year old middleweight.

The "muh Benavidez" crowd are probably the most tedious faction at the moment. He's fought no one "but he's big and undefeated, so he's being ducked, bruh".

Assuming Benavidez doesn't get chinned by Plant, after Canelo defeats him, who's next on your list to say he's ducking? Will you start hyping up Andrade again? Or maybe it will be Charlo? It's important to have a back up plan so there's no void period in claiming Canelo's ducking someone.

While we're on the subject, name the fighters who fight high risk killers every fight so that we can hold everyone to that standard. You must have a long list of such people, with these deep resumes.

Only loss I count there is to Saunders and it was a very close fight with Ryder finishing strong.
