Like Mayweather / Pacquiao and one judge seeing it 10 rounds to 2 ("BLOWOUT!" -- Floyd), where one gave Manny 4 rounds.

Bottom line: Canelo was too aggressive against Bivol because he knew at least one judge would bank him rounds over it. Problem is it was a ****** strategy because he's too small.

    Put it this way.

If Canelo outboxes Bivol in a rematch, will you FINALLY accept that just maybe, he could have won the first if he hadn't fought ******?
He wasn't too small, bivol was and is a better fighter. If he loss because he was "too small" how he's going to get bigger?

Canelo, I think you're great....don't go up against Bivol again. He will hurt you.

Usyk looked slow and slipping in his first fights at heavyweight, but after he had time to adjust to his new weight, he was able to perform.

Canelo has several issues. Unless his tune-up fight is at 175, he's going to gas and be slow again in the next fight too. He could probably stand to spend all his time at altitude too, just to bring the best version of himself.

The next problem is that he's fighting a superb defensive fighter, and it doesn't look like he's learned from his first fight if he thinks he was competitive. Maybe he can win with some corrupt judging, but I don't see him knocking Bivol out and he's going to have a tough time winning rounds because Bivol is faster than him.

Honestly, Bivol is kinda like a bigger version of Shakur Stevenson in terms of defensive skills, but without the mouth, in all senses of the word. It's going to be tough to beat Bivol on points.
Common, canelo is used to carrying that weight, and more. Skills and quickness beat him.

Respect for Canelo for wanting to go back to 175 but stop with the excuses. Canelo was arguably on the best run of his career going into the Bivol fight. Bivol was the better man on the night, simple as that.
Cinna Bon Canelo relied on his power one punch

bivol on his relentless volume of punches bested Canelo
Nelo is considered the best fighter in the world as he fought everyone or at least his resume is better than just about everyone. But great fighters only can go to the well so many times there isnt a limitless amount of great wins. Bivol might be a step too far. But we will see. Rematches dont go the same way as first fight. Even if you lose by ko in firsst fight you can win rematch if given chance. SO if you lose on points in first fight you certainly can win rematch on points yourself.
Look at Lennox LEwis koing rahman and McCall, and Joe louis koing schmelling
You can't compare heavyweight rematches where it only takes one shot from a 200lbs+ man to KO somebody. Bivol's fundamentals are way too solid for anything Canelo might one to do. To beat Bivol it can only come via knockout and it would have to land on the sweet spot which Canelo will find extremely difficult to do since Bivol's defence is so solid. Canelo is just not gonna outbox Bivol for a points decision, that just isn't gonna happen (unless the judges screw him).

This kind of reminds me of how Wilder came out with about 12 excuses for his loss to Fury in the rematch. He was saying he was gonna do this and that in the trilogy fight... Well we saw how that ended. Glad to say a similar fate is awaiting Canelo. This time you just know Bivol is gonna sit fully sit down on his shots. What is Canelo gonna do? Punch Bivols arms harder? He can't cut off the ring on Bivol as Bivol will just circle round him with ease.

To improve or succeed in anything you have to face your own shortcomings head on and take ownership for them. Canelo has never been prepared to do this and would rather make excuses. On this basis he has already lost the rematch to Bivol!

His training looked haphazard compared to Bivol who has a designated S&C coach - Bivol looked like a freak athlete in his prep compared to Canelo,

He'd be benching one minute, squatting the next, then over throwing full power on every boxibg workout, it didn't look organized to me. I post4d that before the fight so this isn't hindsight on my part.

I want the tune-up to be at 175 as well otherwise he will not properly acclimate and bring his handspeed/reflex. Get a Mackie Shilstone type like B-Hop had and acclimate properly
