They can both improve its who learnt more? After another 8 week training camp impossible to say how rematch goes. And no, winner of 1st fight don't win 2nd fight automatically, although maybe favourite. But I doubt lennox Lewis was underdog in Rahman or McCall rematches

Bivol fought at 30% and was intentionally missing. As canelo says "all my fights are special". Wink Wink.

I expect Canelo to improve only marginally better than he did in their first fight but at the end of the day it won’t be enough. He is getting old.

He is now finally showing signs of decline while Bivol is only getting stronger. If Canelo decides to turn this into a firefight then he will get stopped due to a lack of size, power and stamina.

Man stop with that sh.it. You were on the best run through 168 ever, you stepped up to fight Bivol ( ****** casuals expected you to win easily, lol) and you lost. Bivol was better, face it.

You are absolutely correct. He was holding back against Canelo. He decided to carry him because Alvarez did not pose any serious threat to him. In addition, Bivol said that he could hardly feel Canelo’s punches when he did land against him.

The trouble with Canelo at 175 is that he is too heavy. If he blows his load to early then he runs the risk of punching himself out in the later rounds and won’t have enough size, power or stamina to fight Dmitry off if he decides to turn up a notch or two. Canelo can only win this fight by knockout. It’s his only chance.

Canelo needs a "No Man" in his corner. He can't beat Bivol. Bivol is a good true light heavyweight. Canelo can't beat those types.

The only reason I can think of for Canelo trying to secure a rematch and sure loss against Bivol is, he'd rather take a chance losing against an opponent that's way bigger than him then to lose against someone closer to his own size like Charlo, Munguia, Benavidez, or Andrade.

I can see what is Hearn doing here. He wants "American and Mexican cash cow" to have two losses to his guy, not only one.

First he convinced Canelo Bivol would be easy for him. Now he is forcing for a rematch.

This is smart for Hearn, not so smart for Canelo`s handlers.

Canelo is very stubborn. Saw that in the first GGG fight when he clearly lost but thought he was the winner. So he is a bit delusional. If he pulls it off with a win to Bivol 2, I’ll be the first to congratulate him but I would not placing a bet on him to win.

I will say it again, if Canelo is serious he should take Buatsi or Ramirez at 175 as a tune up.

Beating some bum at 168 won`t help him.
