Causals are making excuses for Rahman lost to Greg Hardy saying Hardy was too big when they don’t know boxers like Haye,Ruslan,Dempsey,Louis,Holyfield,Wilder defeated opponents way bigger than them. Since boxing is getting softer by the day should Boxers 260+ be in their own division SuperHeavyweight division ?
Should there be a SuperHeavyweight division?

guys like Rahman Jr don't set the precedent. he just needs to get better.
Louis flattened Buddy Baer, Frazier flattened Mathis, Holyfield BTFO of Valuev -
Here we go again using a small fraction of guys beating bigger ones . Obviously there should be a heavier class it’s why the WBC moved there’s up and the champion is well over 250 and would be favored over Usyk on size basially the entire forum is in agreement to that right ? LolComment

Rahman weighed in at 226lbs!
He's a fully grown heavyweight and roughly the same height too.
The weight is irrelevant.
Where people have a valid argument is when they say the likes of Wlad, Fury, AJ, Lewis etc were only good because of their height. Little guys simply can't touch them if the big guy didn't want it. But that's nothing to do with weight.Comment

I like the Bridgerweight idea for fighters without the skill to compete in the open class. I don't think that is exactly the same thing as establishing a Superheavy division, although, maybe it is.
Boxing should always have an open class, whatever you call it.Comment

No, plenty of smaller heavyweights have beaten larger heavyweights.
We saw Holyfield & David Haye beat the shxt out of Valuev, who's the biggest HW of all-time.
There's just not the type of great Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier type athletes to show you guys what's possible these days.Comment

Its a case of it doesn't matter that much concerning C grade HW fighters, but 50lbs between the elite HWs is a lot, if Fury was 6"2 220 lbs he wouldn't be anywhere near what he is being a giant, the lower weight classes have tight limits on weight I think the HWs should have tighter limits also, fights are happening with 60+ pounds differences which is too much to be a fair fight, the old saying has stood the test of time and always will.
When all things are equal the bigger man will win.Comment

No, and seriously? Here is some advice.Causals are making excuses for Rahman lost to Greg Hardy saying Hardy was too big when they don’t know boxers like Haye,Ruslan,Dempsey,Louis,Holyfield,Wilder defeated opponents way bigger than them. Stop letting casuals or lemmings run your life mate.
The Heavyweight division is a open class division, and it is the purest form of competition the the sport.
No catch weights, no re-hydration clauses, no weight draining. Just two fighters who agree to fight each other, and prepare optimally.
Let casuals or whoever make excuses. Stop caring about them.
The heavyweight division is deeper than just a weight class. It symbolically represents the pinnacle of the sport.
It is the pinnacle, because of the purity of the competition. And the ideal that, every man in the division has a chance 'No matter if they weigh 200 pounds or 270 + pounds' The division more so than any other division in the entirety of combat sports displays 'Courage, Bravery, Brutality, Inspiration, Wonder'.
And it displays all of this because, it is a open class division. Totally compartmentalizing the division, will destroy it.
