Crawford & Spence Junior are both the top fighters at 147.
But Spence Junior is the premier Champion at 147 pounds.
He has better wins, and has fought in bigger fights. Spence Junior has beaten fighters when they were at their best, or in better form than when Crawford finally fought them.
Kell Brook was near enough close to his peak, and Porter? That was probably one of the last fights were he really trained and came to win.
By the time Porter fought Crawford, he was burnt out. If he was not burnt out, or truly desiring to win? He would of called for a immediate rematch.
I just think Spence Junior has been more tested extensively. One of his best wins was vs Danny Garcia.
I rate this as a great win, because? After his accident, to jump straight back in at world level was extremely impressive. I initially thought that he would vacate his titles then slowly build back etc.

Bud is sounding so bitter and over defensive. He's fighting a guy who has 3 losses and 1 draw and unknown while Spence is fighting Thurman who has only 1 loss and fought bigger names than Bud fought. Thurman is still a live dog. PPV> I'd rather watch Spence VS ThurmanCombat Talk Radio likes this.

it’s not Spence’s fault Brook decided to move up to 160 for GGG. Spence STILL had to travel to the UK and likely would have lost on cards if it went to a decision. His win against Brook in the UK destroys Crawford’s resume.Combat Talk Radio likes this.

This is getting less and less PPV worthy. Good job promoters, managers and networks, you’re scoring big against the boxing game. It’s on the mat. Keep talking about best P4P, you writers, keep writing as if these guys are legendary, while they won’t even show us who’s the best at 147.
