Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Wanted $10 Million To Fight Jaron Ennis, Says Boots' Father, Trainer Bozy

Resumes and metrics reflect the pay. If Boots wants the Keith fight, you gotta pay him proper. I’m not excusing Keith at all, he hasn’t boxed for a hot minute and most fans wouldn’t care if he boxes again, but Keith reserves the right for his demand. What offer amount or narrative where Boots’ team even disclosing?
wtf do u mean proper pay? LolComment

Sigh.. as stated, Thurman doesn’t need Boots. Thurman is even insinuating Boots’ team can’t afford him. Thurman and DSG have mínimums of $2mil, that’s what PBC guaranteed for them. Thurman also knows the excess amount Wilder received for Breazeale. So Thurman is trolling the amount of figures PBC could do, way before Boots was in the picture. Boots’ team are supposed to disclose a real offer to Thurman, hence a counter offer to the funny 10mil. It’s Keith way of letting them know they’re supposed to offer something lucrative. Boots’ team just headlining amounts that Keith was trolling. With Guarantees, PPV and Gate Keith would make $4-5mil. Can Boots match that? Who’s putting up the money for that?Comment

That's because Keith a weak ass link, we all know he's trying to cash out due to his past but this will be easy work for Jaron. I can invision Keith being scarred as hell and at one point was saying he had never heard of Boots, but want 10 Mil, get the ****kk outta here, Fool!Comment

I'm not mad at Thurman for asking for $10 million. Thurman is wise. He knows he'll need a retirement plan if he accepts this fight.
TBH, Crawford nor Spence would take on Ennis for peanuts either. He's a boxer...that specializes in the art of knockout.
The only way for Ennis to get major recognition, fame, and access to multimillions, would be to give up a lot to secure a big name fight. They'll mention his name, and will give him props, but won't step in the ring so easily with Boots. It's potential career suicide.

Not sure I believe this guy. He says, we're wanting top five. We're not going back. In the next sentence he contradicts, when six and seven also become acceptable. They wanted to fight Avanesyan. Ok that's fine. But he turned you down? Really? Because your a better proposition than Crawford? And it was Avanesyan that turned Ortiz down, not the other way around. So when you weigh up the discrepancies, it's bending the narrative to suit. So is Thurman wanting 10mil just part of that narrative? To make your guy look so feared and avoided? Sure, nobody is in a hurry to fight him, but when the circumstances are right, plenty will.Comment

I've made a few light hearted jokes in posts about keef, but I respect him, he should ask for 10 million, he a big name big draw, and also he can sell a fight, oh I forgot he can also fight, let him force a fight with Spence, it seems he holds a lot of cardsComment
