The WBA and Haymon work closely together. The reason this is happening is because PBC wants Ortiz to beat Stanionis as Spence vs Ortiz is a Texas Megafight. Everyone knows Stanionis could pull an upset against Spence and PBC takes a huge blow in business.

we saw similar garbage with Spence pulling out of PAC for a surprising eye injury narrative. They did t want PAC to beat Spence. Ugas, a satisfied defected Cuban would gladly play the role to go light on Spence too.

Spence vs Ortiz is one purse bid GBP won’t beat PBC. Therefore PBC takes full control of that fight in a Mega Texas showdown. It would be a take it or leave for GBP. And I also feel PBC will offer Ortiz a substantial offer that includes a rematch for Spence should be lose. This showdown makes a lot more sense than risking it with Stanionis. That Romanian doesn’t seem the type to be bribed for a fall.

I think it's now or never for Ortiz vs. Spence. PBC needs to blast Bud out of the water with Spence's next opponent. Neither Bud or Spence can sell on their own. Nobody is buying Spence vs. Thurman or Bud vs. Avanesyan especially after the "firestick" comments.

Stanionis is ****ed again, looks like everyone avoids him, he became a real boogeyman, my guess is he will have a career of GGG or Beterbiev, when their own promoters and managers just keep them guys out of competition till they turn 32-33
