Not a bad replacement. Pedraza and Martin have different styles and strengths/weaknesses but both are tough opponents.
Teo cant sleepwalk through this fight, Sandor is tricky and has skills. Ultimately, I expect the Spaniard's lack of power will be a factor and Lopez will impose his physicality winning by late stoppage or clear decision.Comment

Wow... This could be an upset! Depends on Martin's condition having short notice... Martin's is very quick and processes so fast. Plus a southpwe. Teo could really struggle with this guy.Comment

The Powers That Be only cared about one thing:
"When you BEAT a legend, you BECOME a legend!"
In their minds, Mikey Garcia is a future Hall of Famer who lost to only two men: Spence and Martin.
In their minds, Martin just might be better than people think. Like Darnell Boone.
That's why it was always the perfect test. Was Kambosos really better than Teo, or did he just expose that Teo really isn't that good?
Because frankly, Teo *should* walk right through Martin. If he struggles, we need to stop overrating "The Takeover" and instead call it the "Got Took".Comment

The question is, why have you already forgotten that Teo got handled by a significant underdog and ducked a rematch he was offered?
Bro, why do you guys rate Martin so high?? Lol. He beat Mikey garcia who was looking for one last payday before retiring. And even then, he barely won. Pedraza has only lost to elite fighters. He’s MUCHHH better than Martin. I’m sure Teo accepted this replacement with open arms.
Mental plays a factor with Teo. It's not about Martin at all.
That said though, he beat a former multi-division champion still in his physical prime, even though his weight was off, Mikey wasn't crazy old or damaged.Last edited by Combat Talk Radio; 11-18-2022, 06:48 AM.Comment

Boxing terms, Mikey was old. 42 total fights, not to mention the long layoffs between fights. Martin gets sparked in less than 5 rounds by in-prime Mikey.

regarding teo, you might be right, but I honestly feel the constant postponement and him constantly having to make 135 which is extremely hard for him played a big factor in the fight. That, plus Teo had an off night and kambosos had his best. They can fight each other 100 times and teo win ls 99 times.Comment
