For years there's never any sense of urgency to make this fight happen. Why, because, as someone said, people in that PBC camp are of the belief that the more certain fights are marinated, the bigger they become. In effect there's investment in time. Exactly why their fighters don't feel any guilt fighting once a year. They believe they will be rewarded big in due time.

More fantasy match up than Superman vs Goku.

I don’t see it ever happening. Crawford thinks he’s a big star but he lost money for Top Rank for years and Haymon isn’t taking that risk.

Crawford’s upcoming fight will be a big money loser as well. At $39.99 it would have to do 450k buys to cover just Crawford’s purse. That’s not including costs and undercard fights. 0 chance of that happening.

Crawford wasted his prime earning years hiding behind Arum and now he’s 35 with little leverage.

That's why Tank vs Mares will be made. Floyd is numb to criticisms from fans. It worked for him, so why not spread the same principle around and make big money?

if that fight gets made get ready for tanky to get a lof of slagging here and everywhere, mares barely fought for years, hes a lame duck if there ever was one, it could go down in history, i dont think it happens but if it does i will be laughing hard

Why would Spence fight Crawford and potentially lose his undefeated record when he can move up to 154 and have it easy with good cash, gimme fights provided to him by Haymon? Spence can even go up to middleweight and make a life changing, money fight with the cash cow Canelo. Why risk it all with someone like Crawford who is not a PPV attraction?
                  Pretty much nailed it
