It's hard for boxer to train during a month in which they don't eat all day.

Make the fight happen, I don't care that much where it happens. If Spence and Crawford were able to put their fight together because some Arab nation threw a lot of money at them, that would be great too. Boxers are not in this for their health.

Anyone else remember that time Bob was trying to put Manny vs Mike Alvarado as a co-main for one of Buds fights lol ? Then Manny & Michael Kocnz went behind his back & tried to do a fight with Khan in Saudi Arabia & Arum shot it down from the get go & basically made zero effort to get it done, said the Saudis were full of it & that they’d never come up with the funds to stage a boxing event there?

I can’t even count how many times Bob has mentioned doing a fight in the Middle East and it never coming to fruition. This is likely gonna be the case again unless Eddie/DAZN is involved. They seem to be the only ones with the hook up and have been consistently putting on shows over there. I don’t think Showtime or ESPN has done anything in the Middle East.

Bob’s used the term Ramadan here, but I think he probably means lent as Usyk is an orthodox Christian who observes an Easter fast. Quote from the man himself below:

“For me, the idea would be to fight maybe early February or beginning of March, like 4 March, because I am an orthodox Christian. During the great fasting before Easter I do not fight, so it should be all before or then after orthodox Easter [16 April].”

so usyk is tired for the rest of this year, on a fast for portion of early next year and fury has to sit there stuffing his face waiting for this guy

                    He means Ramadan.

Since the fight will be held in the Middle East somewhere.

I get your general point, but one good thing about the Middle East fights is that we don’t have to listen to 40,000 drunk people sing “Sweet Caroline” off-key for the 100th time. If that’s “atmosphere,” I’m good without it.
