Andy better hope he’s got the chin of Stiverne in the first Wilder fight and not the second one.

That aside, it’s not his right hand Wilder should be worrying about, but his left hook to the temple.

If Andy can get around (or take) Wilder’s right, then I could definitely see Wilder doing the happy dance if that left hook lands…

Well, most think wilder coming off of 2 losses from last 3 fights ko s ruiz. But ruiz has got a good chin. And ruiz punches hard, so he could be correct

This all comes down to how serious Andy takes this fight. If he comes in at 280 he will lose. Wilder just sits back and picks him apart before landing a right. If he comes in at 240 or 250, he beats wilder.

I previously thought Ruiz would be a live underdog against Wilder and probably stop him.

Stylistically, he matches up well against Wilder and would give him a run for his money, but he lacks the oomph to overcome Wilder.

Wilder’s resilience with his overall ability would eventually win the day whether it’s the 1st round or the 12th.

When Wilder is losing rounds on his way to putting someone to sleep, it’s not like he’s being beat to crap until then, (save Tyson Fury). Wilder gives zero **cks if you have prettier boxing until he lays you out.

This a 50/50 fight to me. It's a fight that either man can win. I cannot say that Ruiz is wrong when he says if he lands his right hand that Wilder would go down. There are a still a lot of questions to be answered about Deontay Wilder's chin.

We just don't know how well his punch resistance is since that trilogy with Tyson Fury. He was eating punch after punch without throwing nothing back. The Helenius fight didn't answer any questions about Wilder's condition at all.

If Andy manages to get his punches off first then he could very well win this fight because we all know that Deontay's punch volume is very low.

I'm sure some hard-core AJ fans will agree with Andy here. Hopefully this fight just happens and we get to see it, not read how it would have turned out.

Totally depends on which "Fat Andy" shows up.... if it is the "fit/fat Andy" then he will give Wilder a really hard time. If it is the "bored/fat Andy" then he gets caught and goes to sleep within 3 or 4 rounds.
