He's severely mentally ill. He just says what he thinks on a particular day. What's funny is the way his followers interpret what he "really" means as if he's some kind of prophet leading his own religion.

He says he wants to fight Usyk or Joshua in December after they had a fight at the end of August, and let’s face it, no elite boxer takes mega fights between four months after they had another mega fight. Then he starts **** talking them and he ends up fighting Chisora for a third time. Now Usyk is faced with a mandatory that seemingly won’t take step aside money for the sake of an undisputed fight and we have Fury opening his mouth again questioning Usyk’s desire to fight for undisputed. And my prediction is that Usyk won’t drop the belt and will be forced to make a defence against Hregovic and throughout the whole buildup we’ll have Fury **** talking again, talking his hypocritical bs like it’s not his fault an undisputed fight isn’t happening. Remember, had he only turned down Warren's offer for a December fight against an unknown opponent that ended up being Chisora, they could have started negotiations with Usyk’s team one month ago for a fight in February.
He just loves the attention, and knowing that people will hang on to his every word. That's why he loses it when he's not a big part of the conversation in boxing. He needs to feel wanted and relevant, even if it is as the villain. I kinda enjoy it, at least he brings the entertainment value up from those that are silent and unseen until their promoters put them in the ring with someone none of the boxing public asked for, to a guy who craves our attention. I really do think that he only took the Chisora fight because he, mentally and physically, couldn't wait for the particulars to get worked out for February. He really needed to be back as the center of attention in the ring.

How exciting!!! Fury is announcing another fight that he'll find an excuse for. He's been hanging around Tommy Fumbles too much

But he wasnt mentally ill after beating WHyte was he, only after retiring for a while he was suffering mentally? So Tyson did believe he was retired. But again it suprises me he wanted to retire so much with Usyk and Josh out there

Totally believe life sucks after sport, but not buying that he was fully committed about retirement.

Trying to avoid testing, more like. And I'm not necessarily saying it's because of a 'roid 'cycle this time; didn't look like he was even in training when pictured outside a pizza joint.

Most likely taking it easy and indulging himself for a bit in coke and getting wrecked, w/out some doping agency on his back. Fair play, if so.

It doesn't switch on and off like a tap. It just seems to present more severely when he hasn't got a fight arranged.

He never officially gave up his WBC title so was still presumably enrolled in the Clean Boxing Program.

Oh ar, didn’t know that, so I’ve officially dropped that conspiracy theory now
