The only thing Andrade does more than duck fights is make terrible career decisions.

You rate him over Vanes? (So long ago I wouldn't be surprised if you'd forgot he fought him) even Williams/Sulecki?
Genuinely not seen him much, twice and both times I thought he looked flat vs sort of higher end British level opposition I guess.

Yeah he’s better than all three IMO, or at least a tougher fight. All three of those guys are very basic stylistically and that suits Andrade. I’m not saying Janibek is a reincarnation of Sweet Pea by any means but he uses angles, has a good ring IQ and would definitely present more problems than those guys could/did IMO.

I really don't understand Andrade then again its American boxing in general really.
You have all these Brits and Mexicans fighting each other, taking chances. The top Americans just don't seem to want to fight each other or anyone with a pulse anymore apart from Haney, Boots, Prograis and maybe one or two others.

I loved American boxing growing up - Kronk gym, RJJ, Tyson, Foreman, Ali etc etc but these days with clowns like Jermall, Andrade, Tank, Crawford & countless others. It seriously in the dumps. No balls

              I fully echo those sentiments.

I call it the Mayweather effect. Or the May vs Pac effect.

Not saying Floyd didn’t fight the top competition cause he regularly did but he often talked about the “business side of boxing” and “minimising damage and maximising reward” and so on. A lot of these younger guys are trying to emulate him in being selective and marinating these big fights for as long as possible. Obviously this strategy worked for Mayweather vs Pacquiao and it was a massive success. But what these kids fail to realise is those two guys had already built their legacies, resumes, accolades up by fighting multiple HOF’ers and Champions, they’d already had countless big fights.

Mayweather didn’t earn crazy money against Corrales, Pacquiao didn’t earn massive money against Barrera. It was beating those guys and several others that got them to that big money, super fight status. These modern day fighters want to get to that status before fighting anyone dangerous. Instead of simply fighting the guys to get you to that level they’d rather wait it out and “marinate” fights until the money’s right and all that other bullsh**. It’s so frustrating.

Leonard and Hearns were 25 and 22 respectively when they first fought. You’d never see that today. They’d delay that fight 10+ years in modern boxing.

As I said, it's his Central Asian name. If he was named John Campbell from the United Kingdom they'd call him a bum. Parker at 168 has a higher KO % than the GREAT Jenibek but remember he isn't Eastern Euro or Central Asian. Good competitive fight but he is no Bivol or Beterbiev by a mile. Andrade is a hard fight. Both southpaws so Andrade can neutralize the angles which Bentley couldn't but as noted due to activity it's a fight where Andrade could get BS cards. Nothing to gain in fighting this guy. Without a promoter he is not getting a decision on a Top Rank card. I always remember when Vanes asked Arum about a fight years ago and Arum told him, don't worry about it. Go find the transcript. It's somewhere online
