He's a relatively new name in boxing. He may have been boxing for years, but he's not well known just like many others.
That said, people need to refrain from referring to them as boogeymen when they can't seem to get fights. It's normal. Fighters who are not new tend to go for the established ones. It also depends on the current status of the division, whether it's stacked with talents or weaklings.
just because toprank or espn or whoever say someone is a boogeyman doesnt mean they are, any up and coming fighter can be a boogeyman, is boots a boogeyman? people want a boogeyman because its good for boxing to have them
