gree with Suleiman, and I've said said something similiar on another thread. Marquez is getting ready to retire and wanted to pad up his retirement fund. Probably got his highest purse for this fight, and figured that Mayweather didn't punch hard enjough to bother him.

He just concentrated trying to do as well as he could, to earn his money, but knowing that he wouldn't win.

JMM actually deserves credit from a bravery stand point by going through with the fight, and not making Mayweather coming in any lower than what he did. I don't know if you can call it smart though. Both Mayweather and JMM deserve credit for boycotting this ****** ass WBC diamond belt unlike Cotto and Pacquiao are doing. I'll bet that is why Suliman is complaining.

P4P is just an opinion. There is no way anybody can be right. If all of us does list we all will have a different P4P list. That is why I don't care about a mythical P4P list. There is no way to know for sure who is the best P4P fighter. But, there is a way to know who is the best WW, SMW, HW, etc etc. And, that is by fighting the best at that weight.

and sure money might not have been the only reason JMM fought Floyd, but I'd have to think it was a pretty big factor.
Yes the the Diamond Belt will be on the line. And, also the WBO which I feel shouldn't be on the line neither.

Floyd didn't cheat. He can't make 144. That is it. He is a true WW. He is not a small WW. If he could get away without sacrificing his body then why not do it? It was on Golden Boy and on JMM to make him get down in weight or ask for money or just not go through with the fight. PBF did advise them days before that he was not going to make 144 and to change the contract. Golden is at fault for changing the contract.

Marquez lost the reason to argue about the weight when he accepted the money. Floyd knew what he was doing that's exactly what Freddie Roach does he tries to get as much advantages as possible for Pac by making these fighters drain themselves inorder to weaken them enough for Pac to get the advantage but you can't blame him either you have to blame the idiot fighters and their team who agree to this.

Befor the fight everywhere I read said it was a toss up, now after the fight, after we see there was no ring rust etc.. Now people want to come out a bash this guy again - jmm landed 12% of his punches, I think he let jmm survive to get the rounds in, the only 3 fighters out there that have a competitive shot are cotto, mosley, and pwill. That's it - and let this fight give a preview for what's to come for pac / cotto - cotto is going to steamroll this cat because I know that cotto is saying "I'm better than jmm" and cotto has pretty good balance - everyone says that pac's flaws are his defense(head movement) and balance (footwork) speed means nothing to cotto, he is the master at timing, and off setting it !!
Nobody said it was a toss up. Everybody knew this was a mismatch from the go. Again u said size was not a factor. It was all skill. Ok let me ask you this. Could JMM beat any of this guys at 147. And, be honest. speak the truth real talk.

                  Shane Mosley
                  Miguel Cotto
                  Paul Williams
                  Joshua Clottey
                  Antonio Margarito
                  Kermit Cintron
                  Andre Berto
                  Carlos Quintana
                  Luis Collazo
                  Jesus Soto Karrass
                  Sebastian Lujan
                  Mike Jones

Out of all this fighters at 147 who could JMM beat? I say none and the only guy I can see he might have a lil chance against is Lujan. But, still I think Lujan out works him. JMM is not a WW.

Of course. The top objective of any fighter well into his 30's is to get the biggest possible payday. Marquez should be set for life after this payoff.

I'm no Pac-*****, but everytime somebody like you says Roach & Pac like to drain fighters, you end up looking like a dumb ass.

Did you want him to pass on some DLH money? Did you want him to go up all the way to 154 (19 more lbs. than his last fight before DLH)?

DLH fought at 154 (Floyd) & 150 (Forbes) in his 2 previous outings before Manny. Manny came up 2 divisions and 12 lbs. Once they both decided to fight each other, how is that unfair to DLH? He A-G-R-E-E-D to fight Pac at 147!

He fought Hatton at 140, Hatton's weight of choice, and will fight Cotto at 145. Cotto came in at 146 for the Clottey fight.

How are they draining fighters? How can this even compare to Floyd rewriting the contract the Tuesday before the fight so he can come in heavier than originally agreed to?
