...and you'd be more outraged about the failed tests and wouldn't be defending him like you are with Benn. Is that you Bellew?

I’m not defending him and think he’s a lowlife cheating scumbag. I more so think the wbc is a crooked organization who picks and chooses who they want to punish as opposed to who gets a slap on the wrist based on nationalism as well as how much money said fighter can generate for them.

Fair enough, I think they're making the right decision but there should be consistency with these punishments. I see your point, apologies.

He tested positive with VADA, who I believe administers the WBC's clean boxing program. ie The WBC do recognise VADA testing.

So of course they should suspend his ranking. I'm surprised it's taken this long.

Now he can try to clear his name with the WBC.

As for the BBBofC it's still not clear what leg they had to stand on. Tested fine with UKAD, and only had a report from a voluntary test with a non WAD accredited private organisation.

He'll get cleared on all fronts. The current punishment (loss of earnings and some reputational damage) is about as bad as it will get. It's boxing.

even if he tested dirty with ukad they accept the isolated contamination event excuse (dillion whyte) so as long as u have low levels u are in with a good or very good shot at getting off anyway & benn said he had very low levels of his substance

They all accept that excuse. It's pretty hard to argue against when your own testing doesn't pick it up.

The alternative is to acknowledge that the testing doesn't work and admit that the fighters' medical teams are miles ahead of them. They're not going to do that.

                      .
im not sure about that, didnt even nelo get a ban (small) for a small amount of a substance that occurs in meat in mexico anyway, (ie) lower level stuff than what whyte was caught with, anabolic steroid, is there any worse than that sort of stuff?
