I may be a hater now, but I was a hopeful fan of Joshua when he was an amateur. I was extremely excited for his run, but man what a let down. The main problem for AJ was his loyalty and coming up in Britian. Britian has always been second fiddle because they've never had great trainers. The US has been chock full of excellent trainers since forever. The nice guy thing doesn't help him either, turning *evil* could help his mindset. His masters have him sold on the good guy image for the sake of sponsors. Forget all that, lose the sponsors, listen to some Mob Deep & Gangstarr, beat someone up on the street and make sure TMZ get's a copy.

Joshuas main asset is physical ability. Hes not particularly smart, not particularly technical, not particularly strategic. Hes just okay all around, but quite a physical specimen, so he has made it through a lot of situations.

Im guessing the idea is roy will teach him to use his physical talent.

If Roy Jones can help Joshua develop a inside game, rough house tactics and improve his Jab. Then that is good.

From listening to Robert Garcia, that was what he was trying to do with Joshua.

Anthony Joshua does not need to be all technical and intricate 'Joshua's fundamental skills are solid enough'. He needs to develop old school rough house Heavyweight skills etc.
