RJJ set to be new trainer for Anthony Joshua

I was for sure thinking Garcia was out. AJ said the other day he wants to try more trainers and learn as much as he can. Good move, but like 5 years too late pal.

I've seen RJJ training footage and he's good. But I haven't seen him transform anybody yet which is the proof I need to validate.

Wouldn't be the best move IMO. Garcia is a far better fit for him.

Jumping from trainer to trainer, I personally don't think this is good.

Skill for skill, Joshua's last performance vs Usyk 'Was one of his best performances in his entire career'.

His boxing from mid to long range was good, and he did produced some good body punching.

I am not sure what Roy Jones Junior is going to do with Joshua?

Intricacies or being all technical is something which Joshua needs to get away from. Joshua's fundamentals are actually quite solid.

Somebody needs to teach him how to develop his inside game, use rough house tactics, and improve his Jab 'Needs to be more forceful'.

If Joshua would of been able to fight in those area's vs Usyk 'The entire dynamic of the fight is different'.

Robert Garcia was a good trainer for Joshua. Garcia, Don Charles, Adam Booth, Teddy Atlas. I rate all these trainers for Joshua, because stylistically? They know the type of fight which Joshua needed to fight to beat Usyk etc.

Terrible choice. RJJ didn't have good fundamentals or technique, he relied on his speed and reflexes. Very little he can teach Joshua.

At this point in your career you need a trainer who can mentally push you, not someone who can change your technique.

AJ is what....32? 33? It's too late, and I feel Roy ain't that guy...
