Comments Thread For: De La Hoya On Benavidez-Plant: "If Canelo Knocked Him Out, Then Benavidez Will Destroy Him"

David Benavidez and Caleb Plant have danced around each other for far too long. Following years of curse-filled verbal tirades and public fulmination, the pair have reportedly signed their names on the dotted line to officially square off in the ring.

Damn Oscars is still salty over losing that cash cow. I'll believe it when I see it and if Canelo can than David can he is the best in the division. That is a lot of talk without much to back it. How about set up Ryan vs Tank and Munguia vs Charlo and stopp talking so much

Here we go again with another one of Oscar's predictions. I suspect this prediction will go south for him just like his prediction of the Bivol Zurdo fight and countless others in the past. Does anyone have a worse prediction rate than De La Hoya?

Just like you predicted that Ramirez would beat Bivol right Oscar, we know how accurate that turned out to be.
It's not that simple Oscar, and it doesn't necessarily work out that way, you were a fighter so you know better than that.
Styles make fights, and these two have the styles to make for a bitter, and contested fight until one finally falls.
These two have been going at it for years on social media, and when they finally meet in the ring watch out!

When they announced Bivol the winner over Ramirez, they showed Oscar and he was clapping and not smiling at the same time. It must have taken Oscar letting go all his pride just to clap after they announced the winner. He was one sad puppy.

I can't argue with the Golden Boy. He knows a lot more about boxing than a lowly fan like me.

Oscar very bitter about Canelo. That said, yes, Benavidez is going to destroy Plant.

                  Teddy Atlas comes to mind.

No sure thing that Benavidez beats Plant who is a good boxer with speed and has the Canelo fight behind him. 50-50 fight.
