Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua "100%" Open to Fighting Dillian Whyte Next

Anthony Joshua apparently has no qualms facing one of his previous ring victims for his next fight. The former heavyweight champion from London was originally in talks to face WBC heavyweight titlist Tyson Fury for an all-British super fight in December, but negotiations quickly unraveled, despite both fighters agreeing to principal terms. Fury is now heading into a third fight with Derek Chisora on Dec. 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Joshua, meanwhile, is currently without an opponent.

Judging from the interviews from Abu Dhabi it didn't really sound like Joshua was interested in fighting at all

I watched the interview he seems more interested in 'riding' and talking bollocks. He actually makes little sense .Regards the Fury fight he say's it was a great opportunity given to him for a chance to win back titles after coming off losses but then went on to state his importance and said that this fight needs even more time. It boils down to the fact that Hearn talked him away and they never wanted to be second fiddle to Fury which they are , like it or not Fury is champion and Joshua is not. Whyte looked like an amateur against Fury and hardly landed a punch with Fury easily avoiding those telegraphed swings. It might make for a more interesting fight V Joshua who might walk-in to those sort of shots BUT that's the difference in levels between Fury and the rest ......and that's from the horses mouth!

He has accomplished a lot in his career & banked a lot of money. Sometimes I get the feeling he is starting to go down the Joseph Parker path. Is the drive to get back on top slowly disappearing? Let’s see when his next fight will be…

Whyte was never great, and now he's damaged goods. AJ will smoke him, but what does that prove? Why sell us this rubbish?

Wytes punch resistance is clearly gone, he can look good if he doesn't get caught but he will go when. He does, his days are up unfortunately

Whyte's had a decent career, made good money.

But yeah, I don't want to see him against Joshua again. Whyte already got knocked out by Povetkin, AJ and Fury. So nope, no interest.

The notion that he needed a tune up fight, before fighting Whyte was way off.

Joshua has just fought at Super Elite Level back to back, and even though his last fight was a loss? Skill for skill, it was one of his best performances 'A good effort'.
