I wish it was 16 million so we could watch the price of the ppv drop.

I don't know why anyone would hate a good showing for this.

Any good ppv numbers are good for boxing and shows that new fans are coming on board.

Sometimes I wish though on events like these, there were more sparks so casual fans would become more interested.

Any good number is a good number for boxing.

I don't even get into all of the PPV sales and who is the draw stuff. Those arguements and debates get long and drawn out on here. And I honestly feel like they are a waste of time, so I stay out of them.

But if they did 1.6 Million with a fight that "no one ever wanted", it shows that people have been waiting to see Mayweather come back to the sport of boxing. However, Mayweather won't get ANY credit for it. But MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY, I'm more concerned that our sport beat out that UFC card that was shown on the same day. Real Talk.

Now you know who told you guys first ?..I hate to say it, but everyone told me I was full of **** and I even got mocked by floyd fans for me predicting it doing 800k to 1 million buys.

Like I said my girlfriend and my sister work for directv, and they were told about the amount of buys directv was getting. Combine that with the fact your not including cable and other satelitte service providers, and bam, It wasn't to see that coming.

I usually don't brang and talk ****...but after the replies I was getting, I think I have every right to at this moment.lol

You always root for high numbers no matter who fights.

Anybody that roots for anything else is a blind short sided hater.

With more juice and cash, we can get the events we want, and kick ass cards because promoters will be more willing to pull out all the stops and market the **** out of it.

I thought maybe you would man up and give Floyd some credit.
