I don't agree. I feel that we will get better cards from top to bottom.
With more money you lure better boxers with undercards.
The 90's had some killer undercards because of this fact.

I see it as a benefit to all when people watch our sport.

Fans won't let the bad match ups continue if there are a lot of them. You'd have a ton of vocal people, rather than the minority we are now.

i dont think anyone was complaining when De La Hoya was fighting Jorge Paez, Hector Camacho or JCC. Those guys were used to build a name for him and lead to bigger fights down the road.

You need to remember who it is you are arguing against. Anyone who sees this as a negative for our sport has an agenda thats selfish and far more personal than the fight itself.

I was happy when margarito/cotto had a successfull ppv even though it had barely any promo at all.

If this is true, it proves that Floyd has many casual fans out there that know his name and are willing to step forward and spend money to see him fight.

1 million buys would not be a success, but a huge success by far exceeding the expectations of most.

I hope this is true, and if it is cong**** to Mayweather selling the fight. Once these are confirmed we can definitely say he is a pay per view draw.
