All the big talk he was giving after the Plant fight "if I fought Golovkin now I'd destroy him" etc.. All the talks about GGG not being able to take body shots and looking bad in the Murata fight etc... I'm not hating its facts - Canelo strategically waited out Golovkin for 4 years to get him to a point where his reactions and punch resistance decreased so it was no longer an elite vs elite situation but an elite vs aged fighter one... and what happened? Canelo stunk the joint out.

In fact, as well as Canelo getting out fought down the stretch by a near 41 year man, he actually finished the fight with more facial damage than Golovkin who only had a slight reddening of the forehead while Canelo had a mouse under his eye and a bleeding nose (as well as a cut eye from an accidental headbutt)

Schooled by Bivol, gassed out fighting old GGG.

If Canelo continues fighting top guys, he will take more losses. he must cherry pick right if he wants to continue winning. Bivol fight is pointless for him. He can win only if he comes with a shot gun.

Perhaps those two can stop talking and fight each other in the interim. Canelo is going to put three divisions on a year-long sabbatical while he recovers.

The only fact is that Golovkin has never been knocked out let alone dropped.

Lol I saw you mentioning about holding up the division meanwhile Charlo is at AA meetings and Andrade is on a permanent vacation in Cape Verde. Didn't they both have belts? Oh wait I forgot Andrade dropped his to duck Janibek and Charlo last went the distance with someone Munguia annihilated. Canelo isn't holding up 168 he barely became undisputed not too long ago so yeah man like I said hating is a female trait.

This forum loves to hate on Canelo but all their favorite fighters won't even fight a live body that's probably why they are ashamed at least Canelo took the risk to be great in another division meanwhile these guys won't even unify with the best option possible.

You sound like a scorned female. Only time I see you is in Canelo threads. You even follow boxing other than Canelo?

Then they should fight each other. The only ones holding up anything are the ones that are ducking any type of challenge in hopes of that Canelo payday. There's no reason whatsoever that Benavidez/Charlo/Andrade/Bivol/Beterbeiv can't fight each other. NONE. WHATSOEVER.

Get Well Soon Champ! Like him or not the man stays active and been really challenging himself so some well earned time off to not only heal that hand but the rest of his body

In the mean time plenty of fights to make on that May date if no Canelo, Wilder vs Ruiz May 6th should be announced IMMEDIATELY or Benavidez vs Plant on that date

WBC Convention Coming up here soon so I'm sure Sulaiman will be looking to make a splash at that Convention with some Ranking Shuffling as well as ordering a bunch of Big Fights...HOPEFULLY!

Couldn't do it though could he? He should be totally ashamed of the fact that a near 41 year old man finished the fight with more energy, urgency and momentum than himself who at 32 years old is meant to be in his prime.

I guarantee you if Canelo's comeback fight is not against some binman he will look exactly as poor as he did in his last two fights - and he won't be able to blame his wrist then. The fact is Canelo is a flawed character full of excuses when things don't go his way.
Onyl in your mind he waited 4 years.

He fought GGG 2 years after he invaded the 160.

Thats a pretty normal time, look what happened with Crawford and Spence.

Plus, Golovkin was in his prime.

You can cry what you want, Canelo proved be the better fighter, better resume and style.

Pacquiao was K.Od by Juan Manuel Márquez with 40 years.

Golovkin always had a sweet and comfort career withou risks.

Thats the reason why he was a new car in the first match vs Canelo
