If you believe a brand new promotional outfit (like a Triller) is coming through with that kind of money based on a fighter that can’t pack in beyond 180k ppv buys then I have a beach to sell you in Montana.

PPVs these days are a leaky bucket. Everybody knows it. Anyone with an internet connection can see any PPV for free. I'm guessing they got sponsors, investors, and advertisers. There is no way the PPV model is sustainable. Promoters know it. Why do you think PBC doesn't want to show Crawford their numbers? Anyway, this could be like Triller. Or maybe somebody is thinking outside the box.

All those "hedge funds" and "mysterious oil Shek" investors always fall through. I wouldnt put any weight into it at all. the fight isnt worth $50 million the way ticket sales have been the last year. Even canelo is only selling 500k. Its a recession and PPV is down for everyone.

I believe a fighter such as Crawford shouldn't even release this info to the public if it's true or not, stick to your guns and fight and allow the business side to be done by a Harvard Grad such as Haymon but make sure you are fine with your options is all you need to be concerned with, dammmm we're tired of the BS!
