Haymon did a 600mill 400mill 200mill and a couple of 100mill fights. He has been widely successful in this industry for over 50 years and is widely considered a "big budget promotional legend". But If you, with all your education and expertise, think you can help him get the fight over the line then go help. Tell me again how much higher learning you have. One, three semesters of community college?

          • Boxing Fans some of us are so ignorant that even if/when a man has a PROVEN trak Record of not only getting Fighters paid well but also teaching them financial responsibility andthinking about life AFTER Boxing, fans will somehow still ignore all that and use conspiracy Theories to try and discredit that person

Like I always post, it is the people who never worked with Haymon who are his Biggest Critics and most of it is based on some weird "I Heard" Conspiracy Theory!

Lets ask Canelo and Reynoso as well as Mikey Garcia and Robert as well as Fury and Warren what it was like, I'm sure it will be a lot different from what some Clown on youtube and on this Forum says bout him

Bottom Line, Haymon has been involved in the Biggest Fights in this sport and has helped Mayweather become the Richest fighter this sport has ever seen while Bud want to bring in some new people looking to make money for themselves who haven't done sh^t in this sport

you guys know it doesn't make sense but you have narrative you desperately want to stick to

More over, Crawford would be the overwhelming favorite over everyone on Spence's resume but Crawford has been avoided....that's just a fact. Spence on the other hand came down from 154 to fight as a welterweight and never unified a single division.
Using that criteria AB is world’s above Bud. He’s a FOUR division champion. Bud unified a division that wasn’t exactly murderers row against 34 years old champs of the division. This was five years ago. Which for boxing is a lifetime. Since then….nothing. Where are you getting that Spence came down from 154? He has literally spent his entire career at welter. Clear back to 2009 in the Golden gloves through 2010 into the US National Championships.

                Yeah...it's worse.

                Read this part:

So, a real guy like myself, I called Spence. ‘Hey, bro, look, listen, you know what I mean? I got this company that’s willing to give us $25 million apiece guaranteed. What’s up? What you gonna do?’ He like, ‘Twenty-five million? What about the back end?’
SO basically, Crawford tried to get Spence to do an end run around Al Haymon. Which is a HUGE no-no. And that "company" was probably BLK Prime, which is shady in itself.

Not only that - that's probably why the alleged fight with Manny fell through AND likely why the Danny Swift fight never came back. He probably did the same thing.

You don't do that. That's what got Amir Khan in trouble with Manny, same thing as with Ryan Garcia - same crap.

I haven't seen crap like this since the allegations about Sonny Liston taking a dive.

It’s simple math.’ I said, ‘Man, we got people who are buying the fight, I mean, stealing the fight. They got the firesticks.’ And he laughed. He like, ‘Man, I got a firestick, too.’ I’m like, ‘See.’ I’m like, ‘Man, ain’t nobody really like buying, you know what I mean, pay-per-views no more.’ I said, ‘Man, we get this up-front money and we good. It’s a no-brainer. You know what I mean?’ ”
So basically, rather than just do the PPV like he was told, his excuse is "people pirate the fight" so he wanted guaranteed money regardless of piracy.

There was no way in hell that was a real offer. It's smoke. Whoever allegedly told him this was lying to him. And it was 100% on the level to kick this guy to the curb. That's shady as hell and NOT the way to do business.

And he's a dumbass for admitting this dude was truly negotiating in BAD FAITH, openly and publicly.

                Terence. NO SMOKE. Crawford.

Funny how none of ya'll had that energy with Wilder and he was making less than Bud is/has been at the time when making "offers" to AJ.

Wilder was the A side in the first Fury fight.
Fury had been off a while and had lost his title due to drugs and alcohol issues.
Wilder tried to cherry pick Fury as a name and it backfired.
Second and third fights were pre negotiated rematch terms.
On what planet is Bud in a position to make a $50 million dollar offer that Al would consider?
Arum let him walk and other promoters weren’t interested. Haymon who’s been in the game and worked on some of the biggest money fights in history Ja going to entertain a deal with profile he hasn’t vetted? GTFO.
