You can’t fight someone who doesn’t want to fight. It takes two to make a fight. This was a proposal by Crawford. He also agreed to 35% and no Guarantee when Al didn’t bite on this. And they refused him transparency. It’s an obvious duck by one group. Al even refused to meet him in person so he could drag negotiations out. PBC didn’t want this fight. Plain and simple.

This is interesting, and a really bad look for Al.

I like Crawford the fighter and personality much better than Spence and at 140, Crawford was well on his way to becoming one of the greats but that was FIVE YEARS AGO. In that time heh as had 6 fights, that's barely a fight a year, regardless of covid, all those fights should have been against the very best but instead he ofugt a past it Khan, a shot Brook and a Porter nearing the end of his career.

Spence isn't much better and at one stage, the very best ww were under the Haymon brand and he still never fought them all.

Both men are now over 30 andn o longer the commodities they once were.

If you believe a brand new promotional outfit (like a Triller) is coming through with that kind of money based on a fighter that can’t pack in beyond 180k ppv buys then I have a beach to sell you in Montana.

I doubt we hear from Spence because we all know he don’t want that smoke. Meanwhile Bud will be fighting easier competition for more money than Spence will make fighting tougher opposition. It’s a losing situation all around for Spence.

The personality, celebrity worship, fan boys who sat in in every negotiation have made it to the scene to lecture everyone on “duck.”

                People are sometimes so ignorant.

I see the PBC defence force is still as strong as ever lol.

I don’t know about the legitimacy of those Hedgefund offers but besides that it does seem like Crawford was willing to concede a fair bit to make the fight happen.

PBC are just going to keep putting out awful PPV fights like Wilder-Helenius and Ruiz-Ortiz. No way they are making money off crap like that

If all this is true, it's pretty obvious who the roadblock has been in this fight not happening

Some of you are such avid Bud nut sack holders that you don't even see the nonsense of his statements. Crawford doesn't have a promotional company or experience in the business. He gets offered huge guaranteed money and is jumping into it without thinking. Who is actually going to promote the fight, who is going to pay for the venue and the security, who is going to choose and pay for the undercard, who is going to choose the network, how is the PPV split, what are the percentages from the gate? These are all things that are handled by and the reasons for having a promotional company. If the owners of these so-called hedge funds are going to do these things, which they won't, they are basically stealing the biggest fight right now from PBC. Also,, if they bungle it and fxck up due to their lack of knowledge and experience, then everyone loses out on life changing money and a mega-event. Crawford should sit down and let the real promoters do their job.
