Sounds like the hedge fund guys (Who probably nerver put on a boxing event) would llike to use Al Haymon's expertise in event making, while taking home a lions share of the proceeds provided that they recoup. Hedge fund guys typically dont own boxing promotional companies. Even if they are willing to pay the fighters 25M a piece, how does the offer make buisness sense for PBC/Al Haymon? Especially when Crawford doesnt have a promoter.

Then you got stuff going around how he might be working with Kinahan you have to be SUPER ****** to fall for that BS. You take that then all of a sudden when it is time to get paid Checks are bouncing, Investors and Promoters gone missing and ran off with the Money or even worse assets get Frozen and you're being Investigated for possibly being linked to Kinahan
Yeah NO THANK YOU! Right Call by Spence Team here! Bud need to go make that $25 Million with somebody else and PROVE that it is 1000% Legit then comeback to the table with PROOF that it is real and no funny business. Haymon been in this business TOO LONG and has had too much success in this Business and has made many fighters Multi Millionaires to fall for BS Dead End Offers from people who make promises they cant' keep and will run off after the event leaving fighters filing Lawsuits like the people who fought on Triller
Stop the Fanboy "I Need My Narrative To Be Right" BS and lets try using Common Sense for once as Fight Fans not Fanboys
both STFU take care of their Next Fights and try again next Year
The take that you are suggesting would mean that no fight ever would have gotten done in the Middle East - in fact for the longest time Bob Arum said it would never happen. Now look - loads of fights getting made there including this weekends's great card.

No surprise and totally believable. Spence is an employee of PBC and he does what they tell him. Crawford has no boss. Clearly the risk of losing cash cow Spence if he gets beat by Crawford was too much for Al to processLast edited by Goatintheboat; 11-02-2022, 02:25 AM.El_Mero
