If Crawford goes up to 154, Charlo will knock him out. Bud is right where he needs to be, dominate 147, there's no need to move up to 154.

The negotiations started in earnest, what, 5 months ago? If anything, Crawford had been calling for the Spence match dating back to 2020, if not earlier. Spence is no coward and does deserve the A-side, but that stated, if Crawford agreed to everything money, etc, but one detail was the sticking point (transparency), then it was prudent to work on a contingency with another contender in order to stay in keeping with his stated agenda to be active no later than December. IF Spence and Company want the match then they need to rethink the stated sticking point. Nothing wrong with activity for either man. If this match-up turns into Bowe/Lewis then so be it. Neither Crawford or Spence are cowards or "unconcerned" about key points such as activity, business, legacy, monies.

As for other mountains to be climbed, good on either for looking to climb them if they can't stop negotiations from eating up their inherent limited shelf life.
Yeah a lot of people saying that Crawford should just take the deal, but his pay against Spence depends entirely how well the PPV sells. PBC doesn't want to show him the post fight PPV figures. Who would take a deal like that? Makes you wonder what PBC has to hide in regard to their PPV numbers.

I also think Charlo beats Crawford. I think Crawford is more talented but the size disparity is too much plus Charlo’s a pretty damned good fighter.

Prograis is entitled to his biased a(Ss) opinion rather right or wrong, but skills pay the bills not power and Prograis should know this since he thought he had enough power to be unified champion but lost a close decision due to being out boxed. Crawford has an undeniable skillset where you can make to many mistakes and we have seen Charlo hit & hurt!
          End of story

Jermell Charlo vs Bud Crawford is an intriguing fight. Let's hope it happens.

                Crawford - Undisputed, 2 Time-Lineal, 2-Time Ring, 3 Division
Spence - 10 years to get 3 belts.

Yeah Crawford doesn't care about legacy. It's more like Al Haymon problems.

Guess you'll blame Canelo for Charlo, Plant and Benavidez not fighting each other.

Actually, I always say Blame Bob and his Ring Girls.

No matter how good much smaller Crawford is, and how much you think his boxing would hold against Charlo, Crawfords chin aint believing you.

The difference is Charlo is an extremely talented boxer that just so happens to have incredible power as well. Crawford's and Jermell's skillset level is very close, if not even, but the power possessed in their punch, and their size is nowhere close. When have you seen Charlo on shaky legs like Bud against Kavaliauskas, or really rocked like Crawford against the much smaller Gamboa? Bud doesn't have great defensive skills, but he tries to respond better than his opponents offense. He gets hit often, but normally puts himself in position for a hard response. If he gets hit by Jermell and tries to respond, he's going to sleep.

That would be a great fight!! Prograis is a stone cold killer and Crawford is Crawford. I don't know that Prograis ever had his chin checked like he would against Bud, but he would be a live dog.
