Welterweight morass/molasses !! Nothing moving. FFS somebody break the logjam!

Crawford Spence - both too stubborn to be flexible and make the fight
Crawford Ennis - Ennis too dangerous
Crawford Ortiz - not enough money for Bud and Ortiz. Ortiz brain trust want to see slippage in Bud
Crawford Thurman - PBC want to keep Thurman for Spence or a vacant title if Spence vacates
Spence Ennis - Ennis too dangerous
Spence Ortiz - GBP want DAZN to get share of coverage, PBC prefer Spence fight Thurman if not Crawford
Spence Thurman - Spence doesn't like Thurman, doesn't want to give him a payday, Thurman wants cash-out oversize payday
Thurman Ennis - Ennis too dangerous
Thurman Ortiz - PBC want to keep Thurman for Spence or a vacant title if Spence vacates. Thurman wants cash-out oversize payday
Ortiz Ennis - not now!! this is a big money fight down the line don't ya know??!!

Maybe Stanionis can be the log jam breaker - if Stanionis fights Thurman/Spence/Crawford I will be rooting heavily for Stanionis - not because I like him - but because it would cause more fights to get made

so bread thinks the reason crawford spence is not happening is that both are stubborn, i think its a bit more than that bread

Good read! No way does Spence fight Boots. That's an L if he does.

          Spence most likely move up.

Spence is not the one who is withdrawing from the negotiations but the crawford who wants already beaten targets or national fighters I understand him if he wins 10 million which is false he will never win 10 million it is a boxer who wants to make as much money as possible before spence easily destroys him but his salary won't be 10 million impossible crawford that's what he does he just wants to avoid criticism and project on spence to make it look bad but crawford beat nobody apart from guys worn out and already beaten by spence and boots ennis want him the big fight spence vs ennis would be a better fight than spence vs crawford who is a non-elite level fighter

Spence does not fear boots, yet will not face him. Their is something wrong with that statement.

If mandatories were enforced, like in the old days, we get the great fights and match-ups but we all know who call the shots - promoters.

The problem as I understand it is Crawford doesn't get a guaranteed amount, and will be entirely paid by the back-end PPV money. They also don't want to show him the back-end results. What kind of deal is that? Crawford is likely to make more money facing Avenysyan than he would versus Spence. And the Spence fight wasn't looking to get signed anytime soon. It's a business. He really doesn't have to take a bad deal. People are acting like he has to accept the terms of the deal. No he doesn't. Crawford is getting paid in December. When is Spence getting paid?

Sam Watson an ambassador? Sounds more like a Fixer.
