  • Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr's Team Were Not Informed of Conor Benn's First Positive Test

Chris Eubank Jr's team were not informed about Conor Benn's first positive drugs test when he signed for their fight. Benn has revealed that he tested positive for the banned substance clomifene, a female fertility drug that boosts testosterone, weeks before a positive test for the same substance that scuppered his fight with Eubank.

So, if the July failed test was part of WBC Clean Boxing, why didn't the WBC do something about it?

Eubank wasn't informed of this fail but was Hearn/Matchroom?

IMo there's a lot of questions need answered around all of this.

Warren said he knew about it....so obviously Hearn/Matchroom knew about it. Warren said it was all over the place...so i doubt Eubank Jr was in the dark about it either. As i have said previously...the hidden message was in Eubank Sr rants about how dangerous the fight was to both of them. Obvs speaking on his son draining and Benn juicing.

That's the M.O. with Hearn. He didn't alert Rivas of Whyte's failed test either.

Poor Eubanks he was stuck either having to pull out and be called scared or fight a juiced up bum.

I thought VADA inform all parties?

                per the article
Because Benn's July test was not within Eubank’s contractual period with VADA for the October fight, the drug testing agency did not inform Eubank’s team.

And he also tried to play games with Rivas's gloves. How many fighters has he allowed to fight dirty? How many gloves has he tampered with? He has been getting away with it when he was only doing fights in The Jolly Old. Now he's on the world stage and can't get away with it. How does he not lose all credibility?
