It gets worse for this boy and silver spoon every day . Interesting to see how these two clowns and Ben’s old man wriggle out of this one , trouble is they have the resources to get the best lawyers on the indefensible

This info suggests that if a fighter tests positive as part of the WBC-CBP tests, they don't actually do anything about it. This would explain why they never seem to catch anybody. Guys like Canelo and Big Baby got caught because their specific fights had extra testing, but passed any CBP tests, as did everybody else in a sport full of cheats, apparently.

Pretty sure a few guys have been caught by the CBP.

Lol. Another guy that got caught on the CBP (also Clomiphene). Was cleared via a very convincing excuse.
Kevin "Two Guns" Lerena has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the IBO Championships Committee over doping, meaning the 26-year-old will keep his cruiserweight belt.

This after the IBO Championships Committee concluded that his ingestion of a prohibited substance was clearly accidental and nothing more than a mistake of taking of a tablet prescribed for his wife.

Are you honestly trying to excuse his failed tests? Minimise em? You are another that’s not called these guys out for there actions.

ive had an eye on this place. Don’t try to lie again either. Go report comments you don’t have the ability to counter.

It's not for Benn to decide.

The second test was a voluntary test as part of the contract between Benn and Eubank. It achieved exactly what it was supposed to. Eubank was informed and was able to make a decision. The BBBofC couldn't do anything... until it came out in the media and they could argue the fight was against Boxing's interests.

The first test is more problematic. If it was part of the WBC's CBP then why did they do nothing? They were the one party who actually could and should do something.

You seem to want to Hearn to have taken a moral stance. He's a promoter, they have no morals. Why would he cancel the fight? The guy was not banned, not suspended, and the fight was ok'd by an opponent with all information, and sanctioned by a board with all information. Why do you expect a promoter to suddenly be the standard bearer for the sport?

I was right all along. One thing I did learn during my time away from here though, is that the usual suspects that defend Eddie didn’t dare pop up and post anything on all the articles including Eddie, Conor Benn and not once have they slammed they’re actions.

Nobody is really defending Benn or Matchroom elsewhere. It’s mainly only here you get weirdos.
                Wow
                You calling people weirdos..

so little benn tests positive on july 25th & sept 1st & this fight almost goes ahead & only gets stopped when a rag blows the whistle, wtf, its shameful stuff really hot on the heels of the whyte fiasco, i know its eddies job to protect and promote his guys but hes out of control imo, hes lost the plot & so have others too, inc ukad for not banning whyte for a positive test & now the wbc cleanbox program has a few questions too but it looks like a lot of guys get off with positive tests blaming contamination so maybe the whole thing is just messed up, no consistency whatsover it seems to me

Even if he is somehow innocent of doping by way of eating su****ious foreign eggs, Benn’s subterfuge screwed Eubank Jr., the undercard fighters and the fans who put up money for the fight.

Eddie boy was in on it too. For that matter it looks like the BBBoC itself wasn’t exactly playing watch dog until a leak forced it to do.

Now, according to the Times, it’s to be lawyers, eggs and money (“dad, get me out of this”).

boxing authorities systems peoples preferred method of doing business, u fail a test, box on, after event claim some type of contamination mistake, get cleared by authorities & demand apology for accusations against them, seems more of something like a circus act to me, clowns looking the other way all the time each blaming someone else for everything
