This is the third opponent in a row for Jaime that I've had to boxrec because I have no clue who he is

Gonzalo Gaston Coria World Ranking is 69# while Jaime Munguia is 4# as a Title Mandatory against Janibek.

Why is he fighting a random fighter of all of the sudden?

Over time he has been getting out of shape and struggling with cutting to 160. Is it really a good idea to waste the little time he has at the division?

Just recently moved up 77 spots too and his last fight was a SD win against a 16-5 opponent in July .

Many good fights at 160-168 for Munguia, Charlo, Canelo, Plant, Andrade, Eubank, etc. Get the F busy promoters! Que paso con Crawford-Spence? Arum, Hearn, De La Hoya & the rest--get with it!

Yup, keeps him away from Charlo, or anyone else can really fight

Sheesh, Munguia is going to make short work of Coria. Why not even just fight at top 10 middleweight.

Like Esquiva Falcao, Michael Zerafa or Ryota Murata.

Goldenboy cards always feature complete slugs against the house fighter. When I hear GB I usually dont watch. I love my boxing but I no longer want to watch mismatches.
That said Munigua is a fighter I like but know can't hang with the elites. He's too slow. So pairing him with sluggers on his level would be fun. I dont need him to fight for championships he'll lose, but for F-sake make his fights somewhat competitive. Not some guy they found in a bar in Argentina.
